Tasting note: Strongly varietal French Merlot, deep garnet colour with vibrant plummy and blackberry fruit. Soft and supple on the palate with good intensity of fruit and a lovely juicy finish.

Food match: A soft and pliable red capable of matching with most foods. Try with mushroom risotto.
